  • South Australia has scored Top 10 rankings for mineral endowment and public policy factors affecting exploration investment according to the Annual Survey of Mining Companies 2019.
  • The report assessed 73 jurisdictions across the globe with South Australia securing the following stand out achievements.
  • 6th in the world for Investment Attractiveness – based on our geologic attractiveness and effects of government policy on attitudes toward exploration investment
  • 9th in the world for Best Practices Mineral Potential – mineral potential, assuming policies are “best practices” (eg World class regulatory environment, highly competitive taxation, no political risk or uncertainty and a fully stable mining regime)
  • 6th in the world for Legal System
