We are seeking industry Expressions of Interest to create an innovative and scalable virtual drill core library for South Australia
The SARIG Core Intelligence (SARIG CI) program aims to harness the full potential of South Australia’s Drill Core Library – past, present, and future – by transforming physical samples into a dynamic, accessible digital resource. This will support data-driven exploration and accelerate resource discovery.
South Australia stands at the forefront of mining and energy resources, home to world-class copper and uranium deposits and a rich history of exploration. Our Drill Core Library, a collection spanning over 140 years of geological samples, is a unique and invaluable resource that we are transforming into a dynamic, accessible digital intelligence platform.
SARIG (the South Australian Resources Information Gateway) is a series of digital public online services that provide the resources sector world-class precompetitive geoscience data and innovated data tools that enable data-driven exploration and discovery.
