About the internship
The South Australian government and Neoen, a global renewable energy development organisation, have partnered through a Memorandum of Understanding to offer three South Australian tertiary students paid internships in France during semester 1 or semester 2, 2025.
Interns will learn from specialists at one of the world’s largest and most successful renewable energy organisations, covering procurement analysis, data science, and power purchase agreement (PPA) development.
As one of South Australia's future leaders the internship will include a salary and return flights from Adelaide to Paris.
To be eligible, applicants must be in their final year of study or undertaking post graduate studies, including PhD, at a South Australian tertiary institution, with a passion for renewable energy. Prior work experience is preferred.
About you
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- A final year undergraduate student, undertaking post graduate studies, or studying for a PhD
- Exemplary results from your studies
- A passion for renewable energy
- A valid passport
- Knowledge of French or another European language is desirable
Further requirements
- As Neoen will need to enter into an internship agreement with the successful intern and the University, students must have a 'student title'. The successful student will need to gain the support/approval of their University to create a valid internship agreement.
- The passport of the successful student must have been issued in the last 10 years and be valid for the full term of the internship.
- To receive the French Social Security, the successful student will need to bring their original birth certificate with apostille.
