| Documents and reports | In support of an EML application over mineral claim (MC) 4322, Kara Resources Pty Ltd submitted a mining proposal which was made available for public comment from 5 December 2013 to 10 February 2014.
As a result of issues raised by the public and other government departments during the public exhibition period Kara Resources was requested to review and respond to all submissions received.
Kara Resources submitted a response document/amended mining proposal that proposed mining operations and outcomes which were substantially different to the original mining proposal. The differences in the amended mining proposal from the original proposal were sufficient for the Mineral Resources Division to initiate a further period of public consultation. Under Section 35A of the Mining Act 1971 the Minister "must invite members of the public to make written submissions in relation to the application for a mining lease and have due consideration of the public submissions when assessing the mining application".
As a result of issues raised by the public and other government departments in 2016, the South Australian Government requested that Kara Resources review and respond to all submissions received. Key matters raised
Response document from Kara Resources Tenement granted EML 6521 was granted on 23 December 2020. Community engagement plan
