The Department publishes Guidelines to assist licencees with meeting their obligations to submit samples, data and reports under the Act. The guidelines are reviewed periodically to ensure that they reflect changes in technology, industry standards and industry best practice. In the event that any of the guidelines lag significantly behind industry standards and practices at the time when samples, data or reports are in the process of being generated and submitted, please consult with DEM to reach agreement on the submission requirements. The Department is also happy to provide case-specific advice at any time via DEM.petroleum@sa.gov.au.
